Session 1:
Foundations of the birth chart
Building the framework
Most people encounter astrology as a list of traits — a Sun sign, a horoscope, a meme. Session 1 offers something different: a grounded, meaningful framework for understanding what a birth chart actually is and how it works as a system.
We begin with the philosophical backbone of evolutionary astrology — core principles that reframe the chart not as a fixed identity or a prediction, but as a map of potential and growth. From there, we move through the anatomy of the chart itself: the twelve zodiac signs as archetypal motivations, the four elements and three modalities as the organizing patterns of energy, and the twelve houses as the arenas of life where that energy plays out.
By the end of this session, you'll have a clear sense of how the parts of the chart fit together, and why the chart is less about who you are than about what you're becoming.
Session 2:
Identity & psyche
The parts of you that shape your life
With the foundation in place, Session 2 turns to the inner life of the chart: the planets as psychological functions — distinct voices within the psyche, each with its own developmental agenda, its own needs, and its own way of distorting when left unconscious.
We explore each planet's role, what integrated expression looks like, and what happens when it's avoided or overused. We then focus on the Primal Triad — your Sun, Moon, and Rising sign — as the backbone of identity, and practice reading those three together as a living story rather than a list of traits. We also explore aspects as internal conversations between planetary forces, and the lunar nodes as the axis of your soul's evolutionary direction: where you've come from, and what you're here to grow into.
This is where the chart stops feeling abstract and starts feeling personal.
Session 3:
Timing & integration
How your chart unfolds over time
Nothing in the chart is static. Session 3 adds the dimension of movement — how growth actually unfolds across a life, and how astrology can help you recognize the chapters you're in.
We cover transits as the external clock (the planets moving through your chart right now, creating pressure, activation, and opportunity) and progressions as the internal clock (the slow, symbolic unfolding of your inner landscape over decades). We map the major developmental cycles that astrology predicts across a lifetime — from Jupiter's 12-year expansion chapters to the Saturn return, the midlife awakening, and beyond.
We close by bringing everything together, including a five-step method for reading any placement in the chart so you can see the whole system working as one coherent story.
