We Are All Made of Stars: Learning Astrology as an Evolutionary System

When I first picked it up, astrology felt both familiar and confusing to me at the same time.

I knew there was something deeply true about it. It spoke to my identity, timing, and the psychological and emotional patterns I carried. But, I also saw how often astrology was reduced to fragments. Memorize these sun sign, planet and house descriptions. Remember all of the aspect patterns and the thousands of meanings they carry. Interesting elements that build the “language” of astrology, but incomplete unless you understood how to integrate them into a whole picture.

What changed everything for me was learning to see astrology as a system. Not a collection of traits. Not a set of predictions. But a living map of how a human being is wired, how they grow, and how their life unfolds over time.

When you approach astrology this way, the birth chart stops feeling overwhelming. It starts to feel like context. Like a story. Like a framework you can return to again and again as life changes.

At its core, astrology as an evolutionary system asks different questions.

Instead of “What’s going to happen?” it asks:

• What patterns am I working with?

• What am I here to learn?

• How do I grow into myself more fully over time?

This is the approach I use in my client work, and it’s the foundation of the workshop series I’m teaching in February 2026: We Are All Made of Stars: A beginner astrology workshop based on evolutionary astrology.

The series is structured around a simple idea: if you understand how the pieces of a chart fit together, you can use astrology as a tool for clarity, self-awareness, and navigation — especially during times of transition.When I look at transits, I am not trying to predict events. I am paying attention to the larger developmental themes unfolding around and within us. It is similar to checking the forecast. The weather does not tell you what kind of day you must have, yet it gives you a sense of what to prepare for. Astrology helps us do the same with the inner terrain we are moving through.

In the first workshop, we look at the bigger story your chart is telling. Why your chart looks the way it does. What themes you’ve carried with you over time. And what direction your life is asking you to grow into now.

In the second workshop, we focus on how you’re wired as a person. Your identity, your emotional patterns, and the way you naturally move through the world. This is where astrology becomes deeply practical — not as labels, but as insight into why certain situations feel energizing, challenging, or familiar.

In the third workshop, we bring everything together through timing. Life doesn’t unfold all at once. It moves in chapters. Astrology gives us language for understanding those chapters — when we’re being asked to build, release, integrate, or change direction.

This work isn’t about memorizing symbols or becoming a professional astrologer. It’s about learning to understand yourself with more compassion and clarity. It’s about having a framework that helps you make sense of where you’ve been, where you are, and what’s unfolding next.
